The Summer Diversity Internship Programme 2010 is now open
The Civil Service Fast Stream Summer Diversity Internship Programme is open for applications from 2nd November 2009- 4th January 2010.
The Civil Service Summer Diversity Internship Programme for black and ethnic minority and disabled students was established with the aim of providing high calibre undergraduates/graduates with a 6-9 weeks stretching work placement within a government department.
The programme is a perfect opportunity to gain real-life experience of how departments function, policy areas they are responsible for and how their work impacts on the public. The programmes will expand horizons and help students/graduates make an informed choice about whether they are suited to the Civil Service and are genuinely motivated by the work.
